Lunch Menu – Cottage Inn pizza, fish sandwich, cheese quesadilla

Attention Seniors - Make sure your name and face will always be remembered. Your senior picture is due to the yearbook class by December 5^th.  Please drop your picture off in the drop box in the main office.  Please put your photo in an envelope with your first and last name on it, along with the photographer’s name.  Don’t forget - the deadline is December 5th, 2008. Thanks for your cooperation. Pictures received AFTER Friday, December 5^th will not be included in the 2009 yearbook. Also, don't forget to remind your parents to commemorate your High School accomplishments with a Parent Page Advertisement in the 2009 Yearbook. A full page color ad is on sale for $300 now thru December 19th. Other sizes and prices are also available. Please stop by the office or see Mrs. Schmidt in room 243 for details.

Students-   All students are eligible to be members of United Bay Community Credit Union.  Stop by the Warrior Branch in the Corner Store for more information!

Students – Any senior with a 3.5 GPA or better that has earned a varsity letter is welcome to apply for the Michigan High School Athletic Association's Scholar-Athlete award.  Please pick up the application information from the Athletic Office.  All application material is due to Mr. Thayer by today.

Students - Opt-out applications are available from your counselor for the January testing cycle.  The completed form is to be returned to your counselor no later than November 24, 2008.  Late applications will not be processed.  Please read the application carefully – it contains important information regarding testing material and testing dates. 

Students - Volunteers are needed to work at the VFW's Children's Christmas party on Saturday, December 6th from 9:30 - 12:30.  Sign up on the volunteer board next to room 127 if you are interested.

Students - Any high school boy interested in playing golf in the spring needs to see Coach Averill in room D121 in the science wing ASAP.

Students - Western Warrior girls and boys bowling tryouts will begin on Wednesday, November 26^th at 12 P.M. at Monitor Lanes.  You must have a physical on file in the athletic office.  Please see the sign in the hallway by the Attendance Office for further information.

Students - There will be a Mat Club Meeting today, November 21st at 4:00 P.M.  Mrs. Liz Feinauer, the Mat Club Coach, is looking forward to meeting with the ladies who are returning as Mat Club Members and looking for some new young ladies who would like to become members of the Mat Club.  We have a busy schedule from December to March with very few home meets this season.  We work very hard, but we also have fun.  If you are interested in this activity, we will see you Friday.  Thank you.

Students - Mr. Thayer needs seven sophomores to participate in a Saginaw Valley League Sportsmanship Summit.  The Sportsmanship Summit will take place on Tuesday, December 2nd, at the Apple Mountain Resort.  Please pick up a permission slip from Mr. Thayer's office.

Attention Relay for Life Members – Please turn in all sucker and Younker coupon money by the end of this week to Mrs. Coates in room 126.

Staff and Students – Volunteers needed! The Auburn Jaycees will be hosting their first Fall Family Festival this Saturday, November 22^nd at the United Methodist Church in Auburn from 1-3. Sign up next to Mrs. Riffel’s room, room 127, and help with the pumpkin decorating, coloring station, crafts for kids, and many games. Staff members… this would be a fun event to attend with your children. See the posted flyers for details!
