MME TESTING for all JUNIORS will be March 9, 10 and 11. There will be no school for 9th, 10th and 12th grade students on these three days.
Students - All boys and girls interested in participating in track and field this spring should plan on attending the first day of practice, Monday, March 15th at 2:40pm in the gym. Anyone with questions can see Coach Nesbitt in room B118 or Coach Syring in the guidance office. All girls should sign up with Coach Syring.
Students - Attention Baseball Players! Official Tryouts begin next Monday, March 15th. All freshmen and sophomores will meet in the commons at 3:15pm next Monday. Practice time for the rest of the week will be from 3:45-6:45pm. All players wishing to try out must have their physical and pay to participate fees turned in to the athletic office by Thursday, March 11th. See Coach McDonald today if you have questions.
Students - Soccer tryouts start March 15th at 3:15pm in the commons. Bring running shoes and cleats, shin guards, and outdoor training clothes with you. For a detailed schedule, check ww.whsgirlssoccer.net. Medical Forms must be turned into the athletic office ahead of time. If you can't tryout due to injury, illness, or a prior commitment, contact one of the coaches ahead of time - Coach Robinson 615-3948; or Coach Neetz 414-1122.
Students - Softball tryouts will be Monday, March 15th at 6pm in the commons. You must have your physical and pay to participate fees turned in to the Athletic Office no later than Friday, March 12th.
Attention ALL singers, dancers, instrumentalists, etc. - Celebration tryouts are soon! Come to the choir room to audition on Monday March 22nd after school. The show is May 12th, 13th and 14th. Don't forget....tryouts for Celebration is one day only...Monday March 22nd! We hope to see all of our great WHS talent on that day!
Students - Spring is near, so grab your fishing gear! The fishing club will be meeting on March 16th in Mr. Clements' classroom right after school. Professional Walleye Fisherman Dennis Gulau will be our special guest. The fishing club is open to any student and new faces are always welcome. Come to a meeting and get a free t-shirt.

Seniors - If you are a member or a minority ethnic group and plan to pursue an education degree you can apply for the Michigan Association of School Personnel Administrators Minority Teacher Education Scholarship. You must have a 2.8 GPA high school GPA. Deadline is May 1st. |
